About

Heaven Skyy is a website catering to all types of writers; even the ones whom have lost all hope.

The idea of Heaven Skyy is to create a safe network for writers to publish their materials, and receive reviews from the general public. What make us unique is that every month we offer a chance for one lucky writer to win a $10 online gift certificate. We know it’s not much but it’s something to start with.

February will be the introduction of our first monthly contest. You can visit our contest page to view more details about the February Category of the month. The point of our monthly contest is to challenge your ability as a writer, expanding your knowledge about a certain subject.

Every writer, regardless of the genre they are writing about, starts with research. Whether you’re sitting in the park and watching children play or birds feeding, an idea might come to you and you find yourself taking notes. This is a start on finding out about the subject you have been given.

The point is, we want you to know more about different topics and develop or improve your creative side, which is one of the most difficult things that most writers try to achieve.

E-Books
Every month we offer a free E-book from our category of the month. If you didn’t win, don’t be discouraged. You have a chance to enter once a week in our sub-category for the month. All the submissions that we receive, will be published into an E-book with a bio on our top three authors of the month. This E-book will allow readers to view other works you have previously published.

Hardbound
Twice a year we publish a hardcover bound books for members to purchase. This book includes the favorites from the category of the month that contest readers have voted for. The subject can be from anything to everything, including pictures, reviews, and short stories. Only the “cream of the crop” on Heaven Skyy.

Editorial support
We accept all kinds of writing and have an editor onsite who is more then happy to pull out her red pen if you ask. We offer free editor support for poems, reviews, and first 1,000 words of other materials. We will always send you the edited version before publishing your work, for you to finalize, because there could really be a reason why you have I as i, and why as y in a poem. Our editor fee, which is a small one compare to others, depends on your submissions.

Our logo is:
Read, Write, and Publish and that’s what we want you to do. Contact us to receive information on how to become a feature author or contributor on our website. Most of all we want you to have fun. Once you are a user you can publish your material daily, monthly, and yearly.

Market Place
We are currently working on setting up a market place for self-published author for their books, whether it is an E-books or a hardbound cover book. It is hard getting a major publishing deal with a big publishing company, which is why we are offering this service. It’s easy to self-publish today, but hard to market or sell your product. Most of the self-publishing companies print your book, but never teach you how to market or sell your book. You usually have to resort to selling on classified ads and to people you know.
Leave it to us, and we’ll make your life easier, for free.

In Conclusion
At the end of your visit to Heaven Skyy, we want it to have been a fun filled and creative experience for you; the writer, and to you, the reader.
If you experience any difficulties or find something offensive on Heaven Skyy, please contact us.
